Monster 620ie (2003) Dark exausts

One question .
Whats the best sollution for the above model that you can recommend? regarding exausts?
I come from Corfu and i would be glad to make the changes in Italia (its very near) .

Concerening your question I believe there are several solutions that will fit your needs:

According to my personal opinion the best one are Termignoni Racing: great souund,nice made,and great feelings.

Also good are the Shark that are also a little cheaper...

What do u think of the REMUS performance TITANIUM set?
People here in Greece think they r the best in terms of long living sound and performance .Is this true ?

I got some "inside" information on the REMUS and I can tell you that also in Ducati they are considering to use them as first equipment.
Concerning the real performance ,I continue to prefer TERMIGNONI, but mine is just an opinion.

I think that if you choose them for your Monster you'll be satisfied...

we are waiting the picture of your bike...maybe with some nice Greek girls as welll....

Oh and another question ...about Geometry .
I was thinking of lowering the front steering base a little and putting a lower steering bar (not racing but something in between to improove aerodynamics in high speeds a bit .
What do u think Charlie ?

I have a couple of extra minutes right now so i will grab the opportunity to share a few thoughts .
First of all congratulations on an absolutely great resource of information gathered in your site . My Italian is not yet satisfactory to understand the technical section but i will work on it .
I bought my bike 4100 klm ago (about 40 days) and i am very satisfied with it so far.
I have been a Ducati fun for ages and when i bought mine i felt a bit like taking part on the collosal history lying behind the name.
So lets get down to Monster 620 ie DARK.
Great bike ,fantastic quality , new frame (is it the ST4?),new front fork,extra cc ,extra HP, injection, all great .
First 1000 klm went very smooth until the first service.
I changed the front wing with an SS900 carbon which gave it a more racing look.
My Monster uses Dunlop tyres -not good, too hard for Corfu contitions and an absolut nightmare in wet conditions.
Question . Che gomma ??
I bought my Monster for 7700 euro and in Greece Ducati sells this model with only a single brake in front.If u want to purchase the extra brake disc u need an extra 700 euros.
Sounds a bit like theft isnt it?
Question . Can i purchase the brake for a better price in Italy?
I asked for Termignioni pipes to replace the original they r not available in Greece. So i went for the Remus Titanium Performance set with filter .I must yet go to Athens to adjust the injection (i hope sometime next week) ,then i will share with u my results on the performance.
I heard a lot been said about a Dynojet Kit. What is it exactly?
I have seen the forum section but my poor italian again :29:

No other problems so far and i love the bike more everyday i ride it.

concerning the choiche of the tyres...is like asking 10 men concerning the best woman...they will give different suggestion and opinions.
It really depends on what do you want from tyres...if you are looking for pure performance I would suggest Pirelli Dragon Evo.
In my opinion they are the best choice..even if as I said some other guys could indicate different choices..

Concerning spare parts such as the Termi or the second disk..as far as I'm concerned ..the best idea in to buy second hand..
We have a section as you know called "mostruose contrattazioni" where is possible to find lots of bargain..

I know lots of guys who purchased their accessories..in this way
It is also very safe to send the parts with an express curier and not really expensive..

I would suggest you to consider this possibility ...
