Save weight where most weight saving Potential is: at the Battery !
Here we go, this 9.2 Ah LiPower Accupack is able to start 600cc Bikes aswell as 1000cc.
This one here has square Dimensions- designed to fit Battery Housings of most OEM Bikes.
The Dimensions:
Lenght: 110 mm
Width: 110 mm
Height: 72 mm
This Pack is a special, has a double outlet (+ and - ) of 6mm² wires, where both connected can start 1000cc Twins !
Or you can use one wire outlet for Starting, and the other for charging.
These Packs allow a peak current of 400 Amperes for a short period of Time ( for starting )
The weight saving Potential is enormous, but you should keep an eye that this LiPower Pack does not get too hot ( better not more than +70°C)
Whilst normal Battery's at 9Ah are usually 3.4 kg ( so 7.5 lbs ), this Battery only weights 1240gr., which is 2.7 lbs !!
This Battery is able to be charged 95% full by a normal Motorcycle rectifier.
Because their dimensions it can be stored in many different Locations ( preferably near the center of Gravity ).
If you'd like to go for an extended life of these Battery's I recommend to balance each cell by a special Charger twice a month ( over night.. ? ), so they can have a life Expectation from up to 1000 Cycles ( the charger will appear here soon ). The connector to balance the cells is already integrated in this LiPower Pack.
That's not all, the best comes at the end:
You can charge this Battery in 15 Minutes with a external Charger !!
So ideally for those who run with no Alternator and Carb-equipped Bikes.
My recommendation for this Battery-Pack:
Use it for 1000cc and more Inline and Twin Engines, and for all Race Bikes without Alternator.
Specification of Durbahn Accupacks
- Durbahn Accupacks will only be assembled from original A123System Cells
- Assembly of the accupacks is self supporting
- 0,56 inch wide cell connectors are applied in multiple layers,depending on amperage
- Cell connectors of gauge 7 (3S) and gauge 5 (4S)minimize internal resistance
- Welding is by professional resistance welding machines
- Two gauge 3 silicon cables are fitted to each terminal of the accupack
- In addition, one gauge 6 silicon cable is fitted to each terminal for charging
- Balancer leads are Kokam type
- Terminal covers provide additional stability of the pack and provide additional protection
against short circuit in case of shrink tube damage
I can prepare the Packs with a massive 6mm hole Connector at the end .

per fare quellavoro li di impacchetamento sono capace anche io senza problemi spendendo molto meno,quello che ne io ne durbhan siamo capaci di fare è un bilanciatore che funzioni con la batteria durante il funzionamento del veicolo...i miei elettrici in ditta non sono capaci pure loro,devo sentire dei miei colleghi appena li recupero...
consiglia di ribilanciare le celle 2 volte al mese almeno..che balle..
mi sa che mi ricompro una batteria da 6 ampere da 2 kg con 40 euro che faccio prima
